Parish Council Update on Redrow Site Deliveries

Parish Council liaises with Redrow following residents’ concerns over construction traffic

Published: 15 September 2026

The Parish Council has recently liaised with Redrow to discuss concerns regarding suppliers delivering to the development site.

This follows complaints raised by residents with Parish Councillors about large and unsuitable vehicles travelling along Lomas Way, creating potential risks to vehicles, pedestrians and local residents.

Following discussions with Councillors, Redrow has confirmed that it has made the following amendments to its delivery procedures:

  • Updated delivery address: Redrow has changed the address on all purchase orders and delivery requests to Frank Kearton Way. This will remain the designated address moving forward and should help to avoid confusion among suppliers.
  • Supplier notification: Redrow has issued a letter to its suppliers advising them of the change of address.
  • Monitoring deliveries: Redrow will monitor deliveries to the site, as there may still be some older purchase orders or delivery requests in circulation that contain the previous information.

The Parish Council will continue to monitor the situation and will liaise with Redrow as necessary.

The Parish Council regularly liaises with developers throughout the construction of new estates within the Parish. Residents are encouraged to contact the Parish Council if they experience any issues where the Council may be able to provide assistance.

Please contact the Parish Council via the Clerk at clerk@hulmewalfieldandsomerfordbooths-pc.gov.uk.
